HYDROSTATIC TESTING

Co-operative Fire Protection is an approved facility from Transport Canada for high pressure hydrostatic testing. We test many different sizes of cylinders and bottles. Certificates are available upon request. We welcome you to come tour our facility.

Testing Cylinders and Tanks is just one step in the re-certification process.

We have a multi-staged process the tanks go through so they can be reused.

Dated Tanks and Cylinders arrive.	All Tanks and Cylinders are visually inspected and put into Gas Reclaim. Once this process has been completed the valve assemblies are removed.

Once the stickers and other debris are removed from the cylinders they are put into the steel media cleaner, see next image	And they come out like this. Brought back to an almost virgin material state. Once they have been inspected, they are stamped with updated information. From here they move on to the paint booth.

At the paint booth Tanks and Cylinders are given a protective primer and then finished in the required colors, as per customer specification.	Then the Tanks and Cylinders are ready to have new valve and stems installed.

Ready to be shipped back to the customer.
